Saturday 17th September 2022 – 10am – 3pm:

  • Gaining experience, initial set up and charitable structures
  • Health and safety and hygiene¬†
  • Basic anatomy and common admissions
  • Self care

Sunday 18th September 2022 -10am- 3pm:

  • Admitting animals and initial care
  • Day to day care
  • Handling




A two day course covering the basics of wildlife rehabilitation. Through a mixture of theory and practical learning, you will be able to see if wildlife rehabilitation is for you! Held at our centre near Boston, Lincolnshire you’ll be given a unique opportunity to see the day to day running of a rescue.

The course covers a variety of important subjects ranging from laws and legislation to basic anatomy and common conditions.¬†Run by Lucy Steele, founder of Wild Things Rescue, this course will give you a well rounded view of what it takes to work within wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, allowing you to determine if it’s the right path for you!
